Linux Git maintainer Junio Hamano has announced the official 1.0.0 release of git, the directory content manager originally written by Linus Torvalds and used to manage the Linux kernel source tree. Jeff Garzik has released an updated version of his Kernel Hacker’s Guide To Git.
